- Group’s Goals:
a) Reduce local taxes and local government expenses
b) Make local government and local public officials more responsible and accountable to it's citizens
- Group’s Strategies:
a) Political Action (sponsor “Meet the Candidates Nights”)
b) Educational and Informational role to stir debate and point out areas of waste and inefficiencies in our local government plus show the taxpayers areas where their voices are needed to:
* Reform government (Taylor Law, Triborough Amendment, Pension reform, etc.); and
* Reform the political system (patronage, Party Bosses, etc.)
- Group Focus: Town, School, and local Library budgets

- Steering Committee Meetings: A Steering Committee meeting will be held at least once per month unless decided otherwise by a majority of Steering Committee members
- General Membership Meetings: Will be held as necessary to keep our members informed or when a guest speaker or Meet the Candidate night has been scheduled
