The Town Board of Clarkstown has proposed a budget that gives the taxpayers of Clarkstown, something that they haven't seen in a very long time, and that is a very small tax decrease. The Clarkstown Taxpayers would like to take some credit for this decrease because our group has continued to pressure the Supervisor and Town Board during the last 18 months to really look hard at ways to hold the line on town expenses and eliminate any tax increases.
